We called them Porselenssopp or Porselenshatt.

I'm back after quite some time and hope to share more updates regularly. Today, I want to introduce you to a beautiful mushroom found here in Norway, known as the porcelain fungus, or "Porselenssopp" in Norwegian (Oudemansiella mucida).

We've spotted them many times during our mushroom hunts in the nearby forest. However, this time felt special. After the Amy cyclone in October, we were curious to see how our usual walking paths had fared, especially since the cyclone caused significant damage.

We ventured into our favourite forest, Bøkeskogen, and the condition of the area was heartbreaking. Many large birch trees had collapsed, leaving the forest looking quite devastated. While walking, we noticed a birch tree lying on the ground with something shining on it. As we approached, we discovered those beautiful tiny mushrooms growing on the broken tree; the tree must have had them before it fell.

they were growing in huge quantities, and we also saw them in big groups. but I was very impressed with this small group of three or four mushrooms
