Sadly, Australia is aiming to go cashless in 2020. So then it won't make a difference if it's fiat or crypto. I wonder what will happen with drug laws then.
My guess is they'll legalise it. And tax the shit out of it. Since it'll end up almost untraceable, will be easier just to collect GST
