Assassin's Creed Origins seem to be looking forward to providing gamers with a great way to get to know the history of ancient Egypt better.

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Origins will be given a free mode, which will be used exclusively for exploring ancient Egypt. It will allow players to expand their historical knowledge in a very pleasant way.

The additional mode will appear long after Assassin's Creed Origins premiere, in 2018. It will be completely devoid of any fight so that players can explore the ancient Egypt freely. Its name is Discovery Tour.

The feature plot and any time constraints will also be excluded from this mode. In the Discovery Tour we will be able to visit all locations such as Alexandria, Memfis, the Nile delta, the plateau in Giza, Fajum and the Great Sea of Sand.

It seems that all this has been arranged to help players understand the history of ancient Egypt. In an additional mode, we will even be able to take part in guided tours, which were organized with the help of real historians and experts. The tours are to focus on such issues as the Great Pyramid, the process of mummification or the life of Cleopatra.

Ubisoft shared a single screenshot from Discovery Tour mode. We can see part of the mummification process and its description, which comes from one of the museums in London.

Assassin's Creed Origins will premiere on 27 October 2017. The title will make its debut on personal computers and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
