Exactly. It is quite odd. I can only guess that Konami didn't want to muddy the home ports of TMNT or something. It could also be because by the time capable hardware was prominent in the home Crime Fighters was old and no longer eligible for a home port (if it ever was).

I agree with you about emulation. Without it, titles like Crime Fighters would be lost ever reaching oblivion as another arcade board dies till there are none left.
