The Walking Dead: Season Two

I am sure with the popularity of owned now, the number of people who expect a lot of gameplay variation on the Telltale Games on the wane. Still the same Telltale Games like the others, this game will be much more focus on the narrative elements rather than gameplay.

However, you can see a little bit of minor developments in gameplay. Minor changes to existing among others is the Quick-Time Event (QTE) which is a bit more varied. If previously existing QTE only ranged from moving in different directions or pressing a certain button, then in this game you there will be slight variations such as moving the mouse to follow a certain pattern to light a match or other simple things that If I tell them the more surely already count a spoiler.

In addition to the QTE, this game also still have a linear exploration befits those games before. The time of exploration, you can collect items that will help petualanganmu, or simply chatting with people in the area concerned. Because in this game you will play as Clementine, deuteragonis from the first game, then it's pretty fun too when we see things from the point of view of Clementine or how others treat him.

To be honest, I initially I am less convinced by the fact that in this game I will play Clementine. My doubts arose because although Clementine is one of the things that made the first game so remarkable, the role of the main character who serves to protect the Clementine was the one who made this game is very emotional. But the doubts I have successfully broken by Telltale, playing as Clementine is a very fresh experience.

As Clementine, you can see how a world that was destroyed and filled with zombie look in the eyes of a kid. The second game was also special because through this game, we could see the development of Clementine from a little boy who innocently, be strong girl and was able to survive in the harsh world. Amazingly deep story again, it does work delivered by Telltale in just two hours I played on the first episode.

The setting of The Walking Dead where the State of the Earth breaking loose and filled with chaotic zombie certainly makes people would think this game will not be unsightly. But apparently the Telltale managed to also break that stigma. Still with the inspired art direction from the original comic as it was in the first game, not many significant changes of the quality of the graphics of this game. But the Telltale paid him with a design environment that is very interesting to look at.

It may just be my opinion concerning the environment that is unsightly enough is affected by the fact that most of season 2 episode 1 is located in a sort of jungle or camp, but somehow Woods in season 2 this just looks more attractive than the design the environment of the forest in the first season.

In addition to environmental design, season 2 also gives more detail against an existing character. In this game, you can see the expressions of the characters successfully portrayed with good. The best example to see the detail of the expression character of course you can see in the Clementine.

Because of Telltale Games did not require elaborate control and many, so it was of course the screen you would never be filled with instruction or shortcut boxes as in the game with other genres. The lack of a disturbing view of the objects in this game give a cinematic nuances more in to this game.

Unfortunately, the user interface that is displayed when the QTE comes up sometimes seems less obvious. A couple of times I wondered what I should do while command QTE comes up. However, sometimes this confusion can give satisfaction when players managed to figure out what to do when the movement command QTE comes up.
