WHAT IS STEEMCITY?

Steemcity is a Discord based construction game, developed by @gerber, which is based on NFT's.
You are the founder of your city and can fill it with buildings by buying cards for 4 STEEM or alternatively for 800 SIM (your own currency; tradable as token on the Steemengine).
The cards have different properties; you can read more about them below.

HOW DO I BUY CARDS?

It's easy - send 4 STEEM or 800 SIM to @steemcitysim and after 5 seconds you can see your randomly drawn card under the Discord City stream or at next.steem-engine.com

YOUR CARDS – YOUR CITY

So far, there are 19 cards in total and each card can contain up to 3 attributes:

Population - increase your population
Income - increase your payout in your own currency SIM (payout occurs once in 24 hours)
Popularity - gives a bonus of 10% for every 100 on the number of Population

IMPORTANT:

In order for your cards to generate income/ SIM, you must fill your city with inhabitants and let them work there.
Population is the most important resource at the beginning of the game!

Weed Dispensary - Income: 10 Popularity: 10 Workers: 10

Shopping Mall - Income: 15 Popularity: 8 Workers: 20
Police Station - Income: 5 Popularity: 6 Workers: 15 Special ability: Minimizes crime rate
Restaurant - Income: 10 Popularity: 8 Workers: 10
Zoo - Income: 10 Popularity: 8 Workers: 20

A little tip:
The Apartment is currently by far the most popular card and is traded with over 20 STEEM! -densely followed by the bank, as it generates a high income with few workers.

BONUS CARDS

POPULATION ADDITIONS - are distributed every 2 hours
Subsequent cards are drawn and distributed every 2 hours. A high popularity increases the chance of winning one of these cards. They serve to slowly increase the population of your city.
Homeless - Population: 1 Popularity: -1
Immigrants - Population: 2 Popularity: -2

EVENTS

You can get the following card if you first trigger a BEER FEST in your city by sending 5 BEER tokens to @steemcityevent. It will increase your popularity of the city and you also have the chance to get a worker every 2 hours.
Worker - Population: 1

SPECIAL EVENTS

A high population will cause your crime rate to rise. In the worst case, your bank or shopping mall may be robbed and you may lose SIM.
Therefore, keep your criminals in check with police stations and counteract crime by changing your population's minds with recreational facilities such as cinema and gym.

HOW TO PLAY

As said before, the game can be played purely in discord with commands.
These are:
^city (name of the city) - shows an overview of your city
^steemcity ranking - shows statistics of the top 25 players

AUCTIONS

Popular cards, such as the apartment, are auctioned in our own auction house and you can bid on them by sending your bid to @steemcitybid.

TRADE CARDS

…on the NFT market. Maybe you will draw a rare and sell them for more than 4 STEEM

And finally of course

REWARDS

In addition to the daily payouts, 50% of the proceeds go into the Steem Pool and 10% of this is distributed weekly to the top 100 players based on population

DIE KARTEN

Ein kleiner Tip:
Das Apartment ist derzeit die mit Abstand beliebteste Karte und wird mit über 20 STEEM gehandelt! -dicht gefolgt von der Bank, da diese ein hohe Einkommen mit wenig Arbeitern erzeugt.

BONUSKARTEN

BEVÖLKERUNGSZUWACHS –werden alle 2 Stunden ausgeschüttet

Nachfolgende Karten werden alle 2 Stunden ausgelost und verteilt. Eine hohe Popularity erhöht die Gewinnchance auf diese Karten. Sie dienen dazu, dass die Bevölkerung eurer Stadt langsam anwächst.
Homeless - Population: 1 Popularity: -1
Immigrants - Population: 2 Popularity: -2

EVENTS

Nachfolgende Karte könnt ihr erhalten, wenn ihr zuvor ein BEER-FEST in eurer Stadt auslöst, indem ihr 5 BEER Token an @steemcityevent schickt. Es erhöht eure Popularity der Stadt und ihr habt zusätzlich die Chance alle 2 Stunden einen Worker zu erhalten.
Worker - Population: 1

BESONDERE EREIGNISSE

Eine hohe Bevölkerungsanzahl führt dazu, dass eure Kriminalitätsrate steigt. Im schlimmsten Fall kann dadurch eure Bank oder Shopping Mall überfallen werden und ihr verliert SIM.
Darum haltet eure Kriminellen mit Polizeirevieren in Schach und wirkt Kriminalität entgegen, indem ihr euer Bevölkerung mit Freizeiteinrichtungen, wie z.B. Cinema und Gym auf andere Gedanken bringt.

SPIELEN

Wie gesagt kann das Spiel rein in Discord mit Befehlen gespielt werden.
Diese sind:

AUKTIONEN

… auf dem NFT Markt. Vielleicht erhälst Du eine seltene Karte und kannst Sie für mehr als 4 STEEM verkaufen!

REWARDS

Zusätzlich zu den täglichen Auszahlungen fließen 50% der Einnahmen in den Steem Pool und davon werden wöchentlich 10% auf die Top 100 Spieler verteilt, basierend auf der Einwohnerzahl
