Welcome to another edition to the PokeSTEEM Battle League Weekly Tournaments. It has been an amazing eight weeks at that. In this post we will be acknowledging those who have entered in our tournament for Week 7 and introducing the Week 8 tournament.

As always we are challenging any member of the @steemit community to take part in this week's tournament. Members of the community can battle Pokemon for a chance at the Weekly Rewards earned from this post. Those players who place within the Top 12 battlers are eligible for the rewards.

All players are welcome to make posts about their battles and take part in spreading the word of the PokeSTEEM community by using the hashtags #pokesteem #pokesteembattleleague or the current weeks hashtag example #week8pokesteem. Spreading the word of the community helps bring more rewards to the pool and will hopefully encourage the Pokemon community to want to use this platform.

This tournament will end on Sunday at 11:59 PM and all battles marked in the battle verification log will be used for the earnings leaderboard and distributed according to the following brackets listed under the leaderboard section.

This Week's Tournament will be

DOUBLES OU TOURNAMENT

In a Doubles OU(OverUsed) Tournament players are battling with 2 Pokemon out in the field at once that are ranked OU and Under. This is very similar to the official Pokemon League Tournament playstyle except unlike in VGC, all Pokémon default to level 100 instead of level 50. You are also able to use a full team of 6 Pokemon.

In order for Players to participate in the tournament you must create teams using the Teambuilder found on Pokemon Showdown.

Important Information When Challenging Players:

Remember in order for battles to be recorded you must save the replay and place within the battleverification log.

IMPORTANT NEW INFORMATION

New rules have been added in order to make things fair amongst battlers and to discourage battle spamming between two members to increase reputation and current weeks record.

New Rule: Players are limited to 7 Battles with an individual player. Example. @pablitolaprea may battle @boycharlieplays 7 times.
