Man caught with $1.7m worth of ganja concealed in buns
The police are now preparing to charge a man who was allegedly held with more than 345 pounds of ganja concealed in spiced buns.
According to the police, the ganja has a street value of $1.7 million.
The police say the man was driving along Molynes Road, Kingston 10 yesterday morning when his Toyota Town Ace motor vehicle was intercepted by a team assigned to the St Andrew Central Division.
The police say the vehicle was searched and 40 boxes with 192 parcels found.
They say further investigations revealed that the parcels contained spiced buns with ganja.
The police say the man was arrested and is to be interviewed in the presence of his attorney, and later charged
