Yep I tryied it first with pesticides... but no chance. We fight one year against this little vermin. And lost :-( at the end!
We also had some little box tree 🌳 balls, they were destroyed too.
Next step will be to buy some cool fresh new trees, and start again.
The hedge above was nearly 15 years old...
