four awesome gardeners to be following on steemit
I will be distributing ALL of the Steem Dollars earned to these authors
I've been thinking about doing this for a while now. I found it difficult to find people on here that I had a legitimate interest in following. So I wanted to make it easier for others. It's easy to miss good content in the flow of the block chain. So here are some of the awesome gardeners that appear under the tag gardening
from time to time.
@papa-pepper
Although I haven't seen him posting in 'gardening' as much the last several days (I think he's been venturing into other parts of steemit more), @papa-peppers is constantly barraging us with great information on gardening. His how-to tutorials and and info posts are in my own nature geek opinion totally off the chain.
@anwenbaumeister
popular far outside of the gardener sphere, @anwenbaumeister has been providing us with great gardening content for a while now. She also happens to be one of the only other people on here that happens to occasionally talk about Permaculture. Follow her and you will have a feed full of not only awesome gardening and permaculture posts, but also cool journeys and adventures she shares with us.
@gardenofeden
I wasn't all too sure about this guy at first, but as I've learned about myself i'm not at all surprised to find my first impressions are way off base. He's really started pumping out a lot of content, and a lot of that content is pretty great. It's always fun to follow someone living in an intentional community. @gardenofeden has been here half the time as me and in about two weeks has already surpassed me in reputation. I really enjoy following him. You will especially appreciate him if you are interested in the medicinal properties of plants.
@Jed78
if you are like most gardeners and love you tomatoes, you have to check this guy out. He seems to be the steemit tomato guru. Everything from propagation to setting up hydroponic growing systems. He keeps posting about this hydroponic greenhouse he has and my techy/nature brain starts going haywire.
Wow, I missed this post! Got some SBD from @rimann and had to come take a look! Great post by the way and some great growers on that list! Thanks for the mention and thanks for following! I've been busy the last couple days but we have more great stuff coming!
Yeah Buddy!
Sent a message in Steemit chat to you last night, but looks like you figured it out
Thanks for the payout @rimann, I got it.
This is awesome, thanks for the feature! I'm looking forward to reading more of your permaculture and gardening posts, have just hit the "follow" button :-)
I Totally missed this earlier. First of all, thanks for the mention. Second of all, I think that you only mentioned 4, not 5. @gardenofeden & @jed78 are some great gardening Texans who are always up to something interesting down there. I think I might stop in in person and see what they are up to next time I head to Mexico!
I appreciate the compliments and the mention, and I hope you can drum up some more interest for all of with this post.
Great effort though and nice work @rimann!
crap I did write five up there....
Well, it still got upvoted...
Yeah i'm her in springfield Mo. A lot of us seem to be in the same region
I was actually working up in Springfield, MO this week.
This is great! Keep gardening alive on Steemit! My most recent post deviates from my usual garden posts, but check it out if you feel like it https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@brownsgreens/why-folk-music-never-dies-words-from-band-leader-of-smith-house
Thank you so much @rimann! We really appreciate your support and endorsement; it's very encouraging and helpful. The gardening community here on Steemit has been so receptive and excited about what we're doing, and that's so great to share! It's also totally unsurprising, as gardeners are great people. Aaaaand, the rewards you so generously shared with us are already dedicated to feeding more free meals!!!! EPIC win!!! https://steemit.com/homelessness/@gardenofeden/sustainable-community-illegally-feeds-the-homeless
Hey listen man! I saw your comments in the steem mining post and I'm stuck on the same thing you were stuck on there, namely this:
"rimann57 · 3 weeks ago
Also failed at CMAKE
Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!
Checked the CMakeOutput.log
Can't make a whole lot of sense of it but I understand the general idea of what it is doing. But I was unable to find an obvious error signals"
Riman, care to share how you got it to work? I'm stuck on the same thing and I haven't been able to get it to work. You said you figured it out but you never said how. Can you tell me? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
uninstall everything and retry from the beginning, thats how I got it to work. Get in touch with me on steem chat next time
Beautiful! This is the kind of post I find really useful. You are right, finding people to follow is not that hard, but finding like-minded ones, who also post interesting articles, now that is something to appreciate!
