Planting Spring Garlic In Michigan

We got a little mail a few days go, an unexpected delivery of garlic. Well of course we had to plant it! I have never tried planting spring garlic in Michigan but I thought why not go ahead and try it. While were at it I would also like to help use it to test how well it works as a companion plant and pest deterrent.
