DAY 10 - Whoever Desires to Become Great

You don't become great by lobbying. You become great by SERVING.
• Absalom wanted his father's throne so badly he started a war for it and it cost him his life. See 2 Samuel 15 to 18.
• Simon the sorcerer tried a shortcut too. He offered cash to buy spiritual power. See Acts 8 verse 18 to 19.
• Even two of Jesus' own disciples had their mother lobby for the best seats in the Kingdom. See Matthew 20 verse 20 to 21.

Jesus said it plainly: "Whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant." Matthew 20 verse 26.
Don't canvass for a position. Serve faithfully where God planted you. It may be a unit, department, business or classroom and God Himself will orchestrate your lifting.
So ask yourself this: Are you trying to be served or are you serving?
