GOD'S WISDOM 1

3 THOSE WHO ARE WISE SHALL SHINE LIKE THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE FIRMAMENT, AND THOSE WHO TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS [soul winners] LIKE THE STARS FOREVER AND EVER.
4 “BUT you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, AND KNOWLEDGE SHALL INCREASE.”
Daniel 12:3 (NKJV)

• Wisdom makes you shine in the world.

• Soul winning which is a demonstration of wisdom makes you shine like the stars in the firmament, and that forever.

I. The Word of God is the source of wisdom that makes wise:
15 AND THAT FROM CHILDHOOD YOU HAVE KNOWN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, WHICH ARE ABLE TO MAKE YOU WISE FOR SALVATION THROUGH FAITH WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS. 16 ALL SCRIPTURE is GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD, AND IS PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, FOR REPROOF, FOR CORRECTION, FOR INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS" (1 Timothy 3:15,16 NKJV).

• When you practice the Word of God, you shine in the world. The Word gives you an edge, an advantage, over others.
• The Holy Spirit will expatiate the Word of God in your heart.
• When you affect or transform positively, other people's lives through the Word of God, you become a star that shines. Your depths in the Word of God determines your brightness.
• The application of the knowledge which you acquired in the Word of God, produces wisdom in you.
• The Bible is coded, and it can only be understood by giving a place or allowing the Holy Spirit to tutor you; teach or instruct you—that you might shine like a star in this world of darkness.

II. Wisdom could also be gotten through the asking in Prayer:
5 IF ANY OF YOU LACKS WISDOM, LET HIM ASK OF GOD, WHO GIVES TO ALL LIBERALLY AND WITHOUT REPROACH, AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO HIM [her]. 6 BUT LET HIM ASK IN FAITH, WITH NO DOUBTING, FOR HE WHO DOUBTS IS LIKE A WAVE OF THE SEA DRIVEN AND TOSSED BY THE WIND" (James 1:5,6 NKJV).

• Whatever from above is superior and above all. The wisdom from above, from God, is above all and it is superior.
• Human wisdom, or earthly wisdom would fail, but the wisdom from above cannot fail (James 3:13-16).
• Good and perfect wisdom could only be gotten from above, from God the Father: "BUT THE WISDOM THAT IS FROM ABOVE IS FIRST PURE, THEN PEACEABLE, GENTLE, WILLING TO YIELD, FULL OF MERCY AND GOOD FRUITS, WITHOUT PARTIALITY AND WITHOUT HYPOCRISY" (James 3:17 NKJV).

16 DO NOT BE DECEIVED, MY BELOVED BRETHREN. 17 EVERY GOOD GIFT AND EVERY PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE, AND COMES DOWN FROM THE FATHER OF LIGHTS, WITH WHOM THERE IS NO VARIATION OR SHADOW OF TURNING." James 1:16–17 (NKJV)

III. Intimate fellowship or communion with the Holy Spirit also guarantees the possession of wisdom.

• The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom and power. The power aspect of the Holy Spirit has been so much emphasized, while the wisdom component is less emphasized.
• The book of Isaiah expatiated or expounded the seven fold of the Spirit of God:
  1 THERE SHALL COME FORTH A ROD FROM THE STEM OF JESSE, AND A BRANCH SHALL GROW OUT OF HIS ROOTS. 2 THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SHALL REST UPON HIM, THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING, THE SPIRIT OF COUNSEL AND MIGHT, THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE AND OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD" (Isaiah 11:1,2 NKJV).
• The above passage of the Bible is one of the messianic Scriptures found in the old testament of the Bible. It talks about Jesus Christ. And the Holy Spirit that would rest on Him would be of the LORD, that is Jehovah; and of WISDOM; and UNDERSTANDING; and of COUNSEL; and MIGHT; and of KNOWLEDGE; and the FEAR OF THE LORD—which the Bible says is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).
• We have in the Group:

  d. Knowledge
  e. Fear of the Lord
• Out of the components, only Might is of power. Yet power has been so much emphasized.
• All other components are related to wisdom which is the principal:
  "WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPAL THING; THEREFORE GET WISDOM. AND IN ALL YOUR GETTING, GET UNDERSTANDING" (Proverbs 4:7 NKJV).

• Out of the seven component parts of the Holy Spirit, wisdom happened to be five.
• The Holy Spirit would teach you what to do if you walk in close fellowship or communion with Him.
• When you pray often in the language of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:2; Jude 20), you study and meditate or ponder on the Word of God (Joshua 1:8; James 1:25); you would always know what to do per time, in every situation of dilemma—an awkward situation or of perplexity.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Should there be any ailment in your body, I declare your healing now in Jesus' mighty name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

• If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based 1 in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
