17 THEREFORE IN ALL THINGS HE HAD TO BE MADE LIKE HIS BRETHREN, THAT HE MIGHT BE MERCIFUL AND FAITHFUL HIGH PRIEST IN THINGS PERTAINING TO GOD, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
18 FOR IN THAT HE HIMSELF HAD SUFFERED, BEING TEMPTED [tested], HE IS ABLE TO AID THOSE WHO ARE TEMPTED."
Hebrews 2:17,18 (NKJV)

Jesus was made like us that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest (Philippians 2:7,8; Hebrews 2:17).
He is the propitiation, appeasement, for the sins of mankind: "AND IF ANYONE SINS, WE HAVE AN ADVOCATE WITH THE FATHER, JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS. AND HE HIMSELF IS THE PROPITIATION [atonement] FOR OUR SINS, AND NOT FOR OURS ONLY BUT ALSO FOR THE WHOLE WORLD" (1 John 2:1,2 NKJV).

If you are struggling with a particular sin in your life, Jesus would be of help to you in overcoming it. Whatever anyone may be passing through, Jesus knows how the person feels, because He was tempted as we are but was not overtaken by any sin.
He is the High Priest who can sympathize with our weaknesses, in whatever we are passing through or struggling with:
15 FOR WE DO NOT HAVE A HIGH PRIEST WHO CANNOT SYMPATHIZE WITH OUR WEAKNESSES, BUT WAS IN ALL POINTS TEMPTED AS WE ARE, YET WITHOUT SIN. 16 LET US THEREFORE COME BOLDLY TO THE THRONE OF GRACE, THAT WE MAY OBTAIN MERCY, AND FIND GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF NEED" (Hebrews 4:15,16 NKJV).
Jesus Himself suffered and was tempted that He might give aid those who are tempted (Hebrews 2:18).

In addition, if you are being afflicted with any sickness or disease or whatever, you should appropriate your blessing of healing; because Jesus already paid the price for your healing and deliverance: "WHO HIMSELF BORE OUR SINS IN HIS OWN BODY ON THE TREE, THAT WE, HAVING DIED TO SINS, MIGHT LIVE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS—BY WHOSE STRIPES [wounds] YOU WERE HEALED" (1 Peter 2:24 NKJV).
He has set you free, you should not be bound by the enemy. That said, your freedom could only be appropriated through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary (John 17:4; 19:30; Galatians 5:1).

Jesus is able to give aid, help, to those who are being tempted, those who are in one predicament or the other; however, such would have to give whatever the burden to Jesus, before He could be of help: "CASTING ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM, FOR HE CARES FOR YOU" (1 Peter 5:7 NKJV).

"COME TO ME [Jesus], ALL YOU WHO LABOUR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST."
Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)

Remember, If you did not come to Him, as an act of faith, you may not experience and enjoy the rest, healing or whatever, He has made available for you (Hebrews 4:9-11).
Coming to Christ is an act of faith, a sign of submission that you want Him to take the lead of your life (Romans 10:9,10).
Jesus will not force Himself on anyone, you have to willingly submit and surrender your life to Him (Isaiah 1:19).
The rest God made available in Christ Jesus is accessed through faith in the Gospel, the good news; that Jesus came to the world to reconcile mankind to God the Father (2 Corinthians 5:19).

"For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; BUT THE WORD WHICH THEY HEARD DID NOT PROFIT THEM, NOT BEING MIXED WITH FAITH IN THOSE WHO HEARD IT."
Hebrews 4:2 (NKJV)

Jesus is all you need because He is the only One who can understand whatever you are passing through.
No one would help you like He would, even If He would have to use any human to meet your needs, He would still be the One to work through whoever will do it.
• Have you rolled your burden to Him? (1 Peter 5:7)
• Have you entered His rest that is made available for you? (Hebrews 4:9-11)
• There is mercy and the grace to help, for your needs, at the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

If you are having any ailment in your body as you read this piece, place your hand on the spot and say amen to this prayer: I declare an end to that sickness, disease or ailment in Jesus' mighty name. And the affliction will not rise again in Jesus' name.
Peace!
