"THEN JESUS RETURNED TO GALILEE, FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT'S POWER. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region."
Luke 4:14 (NLT)

You have to repent of whatever sin in your life, for God's presence to be with you.
God would make Himself real in your life If you gave Him the chance or the opportunity to do so.
You have a choice to make, either to live for God or the self (2 Corinthians 5:15; 1 Peter 4:1,2).
What would announce you, make you great, is the presence of God in you (Exodus 33:14,15).
READ: Genesis 39:2-4,21-23; Exodus 34:29,30
Jesus earthly Ministry was announced, became known, through the presence of God in Him. The baptism of the Holy Spirit should make a difference in your life, as a believer in Christ Jesus (Acts 4:31).
If you have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, things had to change in your life. If nothing changes, It means you are not walking intimately in agreement with Him.

Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:14).
The Holy Spirit is a gift promised to whoever accepts Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Saviour.
The Holy Spirit is not for the people of the world, but for those who acknowledged Jesus as their Lord and Saviour (John 14:16,17). The Holy Spirit cannot be received by the unrepentant, but the believers alone.
Even someone who claims to be a believer, who lives a compromised life, the move or activeness of the Holy Spirit through such a person—either in his or her own private life or in ministering to others—would be minimal or inhibited (John 14:15-17).
Someone who claims to be filled with the Holy Spirit, but lives habitually in sin, such a person must have been under the influence of another spirit which is not of God but of the devil (Ephesians 2:2,3; 1 John 3:6-9).
You cannot be under the influence of the Holy Spirit and be committing sin without losing your peace. When you did anything wrong, you would be pricked in your heart.
If someone who professed to be born-again tells lies without any remorse, it is either the person is still being ruled by the flesh or already under the influence of another spirit (1 Timothy 4:1,2).
If you are a believer in Christ Jesus, and you walk in communion with the Holy Spirit, when you wanted to do anything wrong He would give you warnings, signs or signals, that what you are about to do is wrong.
If you seemed to be dull of hearing and went ahead to do whatever you wanted to do (Hebrews 5:11); your conscience, the voice of your recreated human spirit, would begin to condemn you. All these warnings and signs are meant to warn you and cause you to correct yourself or right your wrongs.
Your conscience becomes active when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. It pricks you when you missed it. But it can become seared or callous If you always disregard its promptings and alerts (1 Timothy 4:2).

In most cases, a lot of believers used to ignore and neglect the warnings and signs that are being given by their conscience and the Holy Spirit.
When you consistently, or always, ignore and neglect the warnings and signs being given by your conscience and the Holy Spirit; your heart or conscience would become callous or seared:
1 NOW THE SPIRIT EXPRESSLY [explicitly] SAYS THAT IN THE LATTER TIMES SOME WILL DEPART FROM THE FAITH, GIVING HEED TO DECEIVING SPIRITS AND DOCTRINES OF DEMONS, 2 SPEAKING LIES IN HYPOCRISY, HAVING THEIR OWN CONSCIENCE SEARED WITH A HOT IRON" (1 Timothy 4:1,2 NKJV).
You would get to a state whereby your conscience would be permitting you to do evil or whatever is wrong, even as a believer, without being pricked or condemned.
Your conscience would permit you to commit sin freely without any remorse, penitent or condemnation, whatsoever.
The conscience of a believer in such a state is already seared or callous or hardened.

The presence of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life makes the difference in whatever he or she does.
The Holy Spirit in your life would influence all you do positively. That is, If you permit and cooperate with Him in the affairs of your life.
If the place that belongs to God, the Holy Spirit, is not given to Him; His activeness would be restrained and minimal in your life.
Thus, for you to experience a fruitful and victorious Christian life, the Holy Spirit should be given a chance, enough room, to operate as He would want to in every matter of your life.
Allow Him to direct you and make decisions for you in every affair of your life (Romans 8:13,14).

It is my prayer that you will not fail in Jesus' name. And your effort in every endeavour of yours shall be crowned with success in Jesus' mighty name.
If you are having any ailment in your body, I declare your healing now in Jesus' mighty name. And the Affliction will never rise the second time in Jesus' mighty name.
Peace!
