Health is wealth so is the general saying but I want you to know today that what you eat can translate to how healthy you live. For instance when an adult consume much of sugar, he ends up with diabetes so as excess consumption of fatty food can lead to obesity and bad heart.
We live in a world where most people don't eat healthy enough because of the kind of environmental we find ourselves and the kind of work we do. People live more on junk, processed food, can food and 80% of our daily consumption is cooked food.
I will like to make you understand that most of this processed food are the cause of so many terminal diseases (such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease and so on) we have in the world today. But this is not the original plan of God for human nature because he want us to eat healthy and the only food he gave to human is fruits and vegetables at creation.
The book of Genesis gave account of God's original meal plan for every living things before flood which was recorded in Gen 1:30; "and to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so."
Have you consider how people were treated before hospitals came into existence, or what are the things used to cure basic ailment before the introduction of drugs/pills? The God who created us understand the reason why he gave us herb and fruit for meat/ food.
