Assalamualaikum Everyone.
This is @sohag10 from #Bangladesh.

Dear Steam friends, I hope everyone is well. I am well by the grace of God. Friends, today I talked to you about a beautiful topic. Today my topic is: SLC-S29- Week 2: The Sound Map. Thank you @kouba01 for giving us the opportunity to participate in a beautiful competition.

The Sound Map challenge is an exceptional initiative to present a specific place or environment as a mystery through sound, this initiative seems a little exceptional to me. Here, in addition to the scenery seen by our eyes, the golden sound of our ears becomes the main source. I chose to go and participate, a different kind of nature, surrounded by beautiful sand dunes, surrounded by beautiful zhau trees. This beautiful place surrounded by sand dunes is located next to the river.

There are beautiful words all around, looking at the tall zhau trees standing on it, it seems like a different kind of peaceful picture of nature. Standing in this place not only creates a natural view, but also creates a very deep connection or gives rise to feelings. This sound reminds us of a blind moment. The sound of birds in the grove, the rustling of the leaves, and the sound of the leaves of the grove when the wind comes, all together create a wonderful atmosphere.

First of all, there is the sound of birds chirping covered in grove trees. The sound of these birds creates a different atmosphere here. Birds fly freely in the sky, these beautiful birds build nests and live their lives in their own way. The sound of birds chirping is one of the most beautiful parts of the environment that we usually hear through sound.

The light and hard sound of the sand passing over the river in the wind is one of the characteristics of the monkey. When it is good, you can hear the sound of sand grains and feel something of the environment. There is a river next to it and when the wind starts in nature, the beautiful sound of the water flowing on that river gives us a different atmosphere. Along with the sound of the river, there is also the sound of the wind. In addition to the sound of the grove trees, all of them are incredibly beautiful.

Nature is like a different part of this beautiful environment of the Jau tree, the sandbank and the river. So that we can learn something new, we can destroy something new from this environment and this Jhap is usually seen on the sandbank. Jau tree videos Other birds make themselves there and they stay there. One of the beautiful things about the environment is the sound of birds chirping that we hear here.

I have captured some pictures of the spread of Jau tree Ali and the environment here which makes this competition more real and believable. But here I think of some real images - the breaking of the river waves - the scream / the feeling of a river. The car horn / the city is very close. The call of birds / the sound of the forest - nature.

These three sounds - the sound of leaves on the Jau tree, the sound of birds, the sound of river water, together create a complete sound map. These sounds can be easily heard and guessed if you close your eyes. This is an open, secluded area adjacent to a river where the Jau tree is. Just then, we remember a different beautiful moment of nature. Which is formed in nature through sound and order.

Thank you for your participation in Geo-Quest Mystery – Week 2: The Sound Map. Here is an evaluation of the post by @sohag10, following the official Week 2 rubric for Geo-Quest Mystery.

Evaluation Summary

CriteriaScoreComments
1. SteemAtlas Pin & Sound Description1.60 / 2.0The SteemAtlas pin is included with coordinates and a clear place name (Patagram Char), plus Google Maps and Plus Code. The post describes a recognizable natural setting (sandbank/river/zhau trees) and mentions key sound elements (birds, leaves, wind, river). To reach full points: add a more precise “sound map” description (what you hear first, loudest vs smallest sound, and how the sound changes if you move closer to the trees vs closer to the river).
2. Creativity of Mission & Hidden Sound Challenge0.90 / 2.0The location choice is strong and fits Week 2 very well (river + forest edge + wind through trees). However, the “hidden sound challenge” is not fully compliant: the post lists the three main sounds directly (leaves, birds, river water) instead of hiding them as subtle clues for others to guess. To improve: write 3 short metaphor hints without naming the sounds, then invite readers to guess them.
3. Speem.watch Proof Video (20–60 seconds, focus on sound)2.00 / 2.5A proof video is provided (IPFS). Based on the comments, the main sounds are audible (birds, wind, voices). To reach full points: include a 10–15 second “standing still” moment so sound layers separate clearly, and reduce wind hitting the microphone (hold the phone lower, turn your back to the wind, or shield the mic lightly with your hand). A 1-line spoken intro (“Sound Map spot: Patagram Char”) would also strengthen proof.
4. Storytelling Quality2.00 / 2.5The writing communicates calm nature and explains why the soundscape feels special (birds + leaves + river + wind). The story could be stronger with a clearer “one-minute listening” structure: loudest sound, smallest sound, repeating rhythm, and one surprising sound that appears suddenly (e.g., distant horn, human voice, wave slap).
5. Engagement (Listening / Guessing others)0.20 / 1.0Engagement appears limited: you noted the author commented on only one other participation. Full points usually require commenting on at least two entries and guessing sounds/clues.

Final Score: 6.70 / 10

Remarks:
This is a good natural Sound Map spot with clear thematic fit and authentic environmental sounds. The biggest point gains would come from (1) making the Hidden Sound Challenge truly hidden (3 clue-style hints), and (2) improving engagement by guessing sounds on at least two other entries.

Geo-Quest Mystery Jury

You went to a clearing by the river where you could enjoy the beautiful scenery and captured some natural sounds. On the opposite side of the river where you were standing, there was a forest. You could make out some sounds from there. The person with you was telling you something, he might have been telling you that dry wood can be collected from the trees here, the sound of birds chirping and the strong sound of the wind. I also heard you explaining an English sentence correctly to your friend.

Thank you so much for your nice comment.

Hola, amigo. En tu video pude captar los siguientes sonidos: el canto de pájaros, el roce del aire con el micrófono del móvil y las voces de las personas. Al parecer allí están cantando dos especies de pájaros. Saludos.

Thank you so much
