SC-S29|Geo-Quest Mystery – Week 4: History Glitch
Today I will share with you all the review of a shop that is completely different from other shops. This shop is not as flashy as other shops. However, there is a smell of history hidden in every part of this shop. It is as if you can smell a different kind of history. Different types of things are sold here. Which is completely different from all the other shops. Although there are other shops around, this shop stands completely outside of time, it seems like that when you look at the shop. It is as if every thing is weaving a story of history.

Various types of wickerwork were placed outside and inside. And through this, those things were beautifully presenting their presence to everyone. Their perfect works highlighted the tradition in a very beautiful way. It was as if they were presenting a history of a certain time. At a time when these things were most used. And the metallic glitter of various small and large objects suddenly appeared in the eye but never made a sound. And it seemed to me that there was much more hidden in these things. Making them perfectly and completely is really something else.
This shop is not very crowded, but it is not completely empty either. In a word, this shop is in the middle of nowhere. Where some people definitely come and go, and buy such things. Because still often there is a touch of history hidden in many people. They like to use such handmade things the most. And when I asked the shopkeeper about the history of this shop, I got to know that history through the shopkeeper. Which he told me very well like a story. We liked this very much.
He told me a lot about this. He also told me that at one time everything in the village depended on these things. Starting from all kinds of daily tasks to cooking, they were always used. These were the only hope and companion of the people. And most of the people used these things as well as ran their families through them. Their perfect handiwork and skill were revealed by making such things with precision and patience. All the men and women of the village worked day and night to make and sell these things.

And after hearing all these words from the shopkeeper, a different respect was created in my mind about every thing inside the shop. At that time, it was as if all these things were seen before my eyes. Due to which a different sense of respect was created. Nowadays, most people no longer use such things. Now they are keeping pace with modernity. Yet this shop here still survives. These shops were very necessary for everyone in the past. But now, all these things and shops have become memories for everyone.
When you touch the perfectly made rattan items, you can feel the hard work of people. Also, the old words are hidden in the items made of clay and plastic. The designs of the Kanthas sewn by the perfect hands of people reminded me of those times. Standing in the middle of all this, it feels like we are in two times at the same time. Where history and modernity are visible. And I think this shop is that “glitch” for me, where history and everyday life suddenly appear. Which reminds me of those moments in history.
