Gmail: Dark Theme coming soon. Here's how the new screens will look
Gmail's got its Dark Theme. In a first test and trial stage, Google began releasing the fresh version of the email client to some customers. The Mountain View company's desire seems to want to homogenize the design of its apps to the "Dark" theme that we saw will be fully implemented by Google late summer with the launch of Android Q. Therefore the business seems willing to bring it even on Gmail and the first signs enable us to see how Gmail is going to be "dressed" in the dark.
Gmail: here are the fresh dark screens Unfortunately, at the time what appears is just a really stylised first release of Gmail in the dark. Above all, what Android Police discovered analyzing the APK of Gmail's new version is essentially the presence of a double dark page that can't be activated by the classic button we generally find in the environments. However, Gmail already has some dark pages in the code with the 2019.06.09 version and we're only talking about the first page of the environments. The side menu is not as dark as other application segments.
Therefore, only a first reference to the "Dark Mode," which is certainly already in an sophisticated test stage for Google but has not yet been published for customers in the Beta phase. For a long time, consumers have been clamoring for the option of getting a dark theme that could somehow mitigate battery consumption, particularly with the use of an AMOLED screen smartphone that we know with dark websites tends to switch off the pixels entirely and save battery.
By activating the fast toogle directly, Android Q will allow you to alter the theme and render it totally dark. A convenience that for many is also an esthetic "whim" that other smartphone companies have often implemented in a secondary manner thanks to the multiple graphical interfaces of third parties. Now everything is going to be by default and Google is already working to make it less misleading and more homogeneous, above all.
