God of War is already gold
At the end of this week, the long-awaited exclusive PlayStation 4 has become gold! This means that the game discs are ready to be uploaded along with the line, and all you have to do is wait until April 20, when the game's premiere will take place.
"This was the most terrifying, wonderful thing I've ever done and I will not be honest if I do not say it would not have been possible without the full support of Sony and the tireless work of Santa Maria's incredible studio team. We've had a lot of things together and I would not change anything, "says Cory Barlog, director of the game.
The new game from the series will take you to an unusual place for Kratos - Scandinavia. Santa Monica has repeatedly stated that the whole page of the Kratos epic was opened with this God of War. Here he will make his premiere and his son, Atreus. And from a previous Sony interview, we realized that this was not the only game we'd ever see.
In a recent interview with the PlayStation blog, Cory Bar logo and his colleagues talk more about Atreus, his place in history, the game, and the very idea of his presence here. A curious moment in the story of God of War people is that they have drawn inspiration from the best-supporting characters - Ellie from The Last of Us and, of course, Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite. There is also a specific reason for including Atreus in the series. This is the desire to convey a completely different image to Kratos and his slight caricature and brutal hero to get a far more human appearance, and the appearance of Atreus and the relationship shown between them - to change the attitude of the player towards him.
"Atreus is the mirror that Kratos shines and makes him realize he has to change. Atreus will take his humanity to show. Kratos will receive his own humanity and will have to understand the way he will accept it, "explains Barlog.

As a fan of the God of War series, I really like what they are doing with the story. After the revenge fuel theme of the previous games, I looked forward to see Kratos in a new light. It's interesting to see Kratos exploring his humanity and Atrius will definitely play a huge part in it. Anyways, thanks for the interesting review.
