Do You Know The Gospel? Have You Obtained Eternal Salvation From God Through Jesus Christ?
All religions on earth, except for Biblical Christianity, teach that human beings are capable of earning salvation through good works, obedience to some set of laws, and/or membership in some church or religious institution. The truth taught in the Bible, however, is completely the opposite.
“There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good.” (Romans 3:10-12). Man in his natural state is spiritually dead and inherently guilty of sin, doomed to condemnation and Hell, and unable to do anything about it UNLESS God by his Grace reaches down and declares that your sin will not be counted against you at the final judgment.
But God cannot maintain perfect justice if he simply refuses to acknowledge that each of us has sinned, without somehow settling the debt and offense we each own according to the infinitely perfect standards of his Righteous law and majesty. Therefore, God himself materialized in the form of a man, Jesus Christ; and, having no sin of his own, he died our death, paid our sin debts, and suffered the wrath of God against all sin, so that his sacrifice is sufficient to atone for every soul that believes in and belongs to Jesus Christ.
“For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God... By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” (Hebrews 10:4-7,10). For this reason, true faith in Christ is the only way to evade Hell, because no one else is qualified to atone for sin nor has actually done it, as Jesus Christ has.
And salvation in Christ is not something you merely choose, or earn, but you must receive it from God, “According to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” (2 Timothy 1:8-10).
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith." (Romans 3:23-26).
