THE STEEMIT GREETERS GUILD NEEDS TRAINERS
TO TRAIN NEWBIES FOR GUILD POSITIONS
Well ladies and gentlemen, the past week has been incredibly eventful for @greetersguild to say the absolute least. We have implemented a new writing initiative that will in the future become a sister group of the guild, by the name of The Writer's Guild, that is not only honing the skills of community writers but allowing the guild to maintain consistent publications. We have began the creation and implementation of guild curation trails and our newest project, The Curation Crew. Most importantly, we had such a surge in new faces to our Discord server that we have finally started the thorough construction of another Discord server to house our official members and a detailed rebuild of the current server into a new user training ground. The idea behind this is to filter the 600-700 current members into productive areas, allowing for better focus of guild members and a more efficient approach to training newbies into entry level guild positions such as Greeters and Scouts. Because of the amount of recruited newbies into the server, we have had to take several new approaches, and we finally have created an effective way to accommodate this surge. Please follow along.
SO WHY DO WE NEED TRAINERS?
With the newest implementation of a split server came the brilliant idea to turn the current server into a massive training ground and educational facility (per se) for all new guests and members of the server. The guild has decided to offer training into entry level positions for those interested in joining @greetersguild as official members, giving growth opportunities for newbies, both personally and professionally. With that being said, the guild will be offering training for entry level positions on a daily basis beginning on Monday, 5/28/2018, which is when the server divide will be completed and announced publicly. We are expecting to have a minimum of 10 new trainees daily, with numbers reaching as high as 25 to 30, increasing the demand for qualified individuals to work personally with these newbies.
HOW MANY TRAINERS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The guild is currently looking to bring in a minimum of 10 new trainers to work directly with the guests and trainees within the server. Ideally, we could use 16 trainers, so we could offer relief for some of the members who apply for this position. Honestly, as long as we end up with a minimum of 10 new trainers by Monday, we are golden and ahead of the curve. All trainers brought in will be personally trained by @terminallyill if they have no prior guild experience, but please note, non-guild members will be required to successfully pass a basic qualification test in order to be eligible for the position. Trainers will be added to tier membership of the guild, enabling automatic upvotes from the guild and increasing benefits for the new trainer. Further details can be discussed with @terminallyill at your discretion.
HOW TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION
If you are interested in working with new users on the Steemit platform, helping them grow and learn their way around, then this is perfect for you. Not only can you do your part in molding the future of a new Steemian, but you can turn them into an official guild member, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary to pay it forward and offer the same service to other new users on the platform. The idea is simple, train new Greeters and Scouts, who in turn bring more new trainees, keeping the circle in motion and the guild, as well as the community, growing in a positive way. My gosh, It seems like you are doing a very well and hard work guys! I think this kind of groups (the ones that help the new users) are some of the best things in this amazing platform. I've never thought about finding too many. You are doing it excellent, congrats for your brilliant ideas.
