Why you should use a backing track for improving your strumming

in #guitar7 years ago (edited)

Hello dear steemians, Learning to strum to the guitar has always been a challenge for beginners. Even if they could play some but gaining perfection becomes very difficult. And addressing one simple problem can help beginners immensely. It's basically keeping a constant rhythm that is the problem. So use of a backing track can help in figuring out the mistakes and with some dedication n practice a student will achieve the goal. I leave you with a lesson with a backing track.

I couldn't agree more with you. From a producer's stand point, tempo and rhythm will always trump how fast you can play. It's far more important to have a good sense of feel to sit in with the beat of the song especially if the player is attempting music with heavy syncopation such as Colony House.
