I think your right, I havent been back there in 5 years.. I dont want to go back but the last time I will because of my sisters wedding.
The was already a knife amnesty in 2003/4 i think it was, look how productive that was! Its just properganda, "showing that they care"..
There is an effort to keep the people in a dependent state. They seem to be more than willing to go along with it but I think people are going to get a wake up call pretty soon that they need to think for themselves and protect themselves.
I don't think those that are not awake already will live much past the time they say "why is this happening to me?" :)
