Returning to a Game After a Long Break
Today after a time I decided to play the game. It was actually an experience because I remembered many things from the game but at the same time I noticed that a lot has changed since the last time I played the game. Some of these changes were quite surprising to me.

It gave me the feeling that I was playing the game in an environment. Even though the basic feeling of the game was still there many things seemed to have been improved and updated.
One of the screenshots shows my raid progress. Seeing players on the ranking list made me curious about how I could progress if I started playing regularly again.
When I played the game previously I had an understanding of the game and its systems. Now there are elements that I need to learn. Some features feel familiar while others are completely new to me.
I think this is one of the things about online games. They do not always remain the same. Developers continue adding features changing systems improving graphics and introducing ways for players to participate. Sometimes these changes can make an old player feel lost for a moment. They can also make the game exciting again.
The last screenshot shows three character cards from the Hari Raid section. I really liked the way these characters are presented. The cards have a design. Each character has a different appearance and style. Seeing these cards again made me interested in exploring the game and understanding what role they play now.
After being for such a time I did not expect everything to feel immediately familiar. Instead I felt like I was discovering the game again. That actually made todays experience more enjoyable. I had to look at sections understand the system and see what had changed.
Whether it is increasing damage improving a rank collecting items or receiving rewards these small achievements encourage me to continue.
My current raid rank of 35 is not something I am looking at as a result. Since I have only returned to the game today after a break I consider it more like a starting point.
Games are more enjoyable for me when I can play them at my pace explore the changes and slowly understand everything that has been added.
Todays return also reminded me of how quickly games can evolve. A game that I remember from the past can look completely different after some time. New graphics, new characters, new systems, new rewards and different interfaces can create an experience.
I am especially happy that the changes I noticed today were positive from my point of view. The game feels more developed. There are things for me to explore. Of feeling like I am simply returning to a game it feels like I am starting a new chapter in a game that I already know.
I need to understand the raid system learn more about the characters and cards and figure out the way to increase my performance. Since I have been away, for a time I know that I cannot expect to understand everything in one day.
That is also part of the fun.
Today marked a step back into the game. I played again checked the features looked at my rank and progress and enjoyed seeing how much the game had changed. The experience brought back some memories while also giving reasons to continue playing.
I am glad that I decided to open the game today. Sometimes taking a break from the game makes returning to the game more interesting because one can clearly see how much the game has changed.
For now I am happy with this comeback. My rank is 35. My raid progress has started again. Many new things wait for me to discover.
After such a break coming back and finding many improvements was a pleasant surprise. Today was not another gaming session, for me—it felt like returning to the game and discovering it all over again.
