I think youngsters are going to regret their current hairstyle decisions later in life

I'm closing in on 50 years of age and like a lot of men my age I have noticed baldness setting in and while it doesn't really matter to me because I never have been a high fashion sort of person and don't even have any hair care products, I do know that for most men, hair loss is just a regular part of life. I know very few people over 45 that don't have some sort of hair loss on the top of their heads and to compensate for that a lot of them sort of get into the designer facial hair part of life.

But the other day I was somewhere that a lot of younger people, like around 20-35 were hanging out in and I noticed a lot of younger people are intentionally shaving their heads and focusing on facial hair instead and it seems to be a trend of the hip and now.

I don't take pictures of people in public because I think that is rude so this is just a stock image (free-use) of something htat kind of exhibits what I am talking about. you can see by the head stubble of this guy that he has a full head of hair naturally yet he shaves it all off anyway.

I get that it is the style of the day and people can do whatever they want but I think that 10-20 years from now a lot of these younger people are going to not have a choice when they get older as they wont have much on top anymore and they are going to look back and thing "what was I thinking? I had all that hair and I intentionally cut it off!"

Maybe Hollywood made this happen or David Beckham or something like that. Also, this could just be old me not understanding the younger generation. All I know is that each year that passes I have less and less hair and I know that it is only going to progress unless I go to Turkey (or however that is spelled now) and get a transplant, which I will not do.

I am reminded of a song that was popular when I was teenager by a band called Cinderella that almost made it to the forefront of pop culture primarily with this song.

I may be reflecting on regrets that I think people will have because of my friend who recently got diagnosed with leukemia and is now facing a lot of regrets about decision that he made in life.

I am all about people doing whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else but this is one thing that I believe most if not all of these folks are going to look back and regret. Oh well, live your life and do whatever you want I guess.

Don't even get me started on the fact that nearly everyone in their 20's is covered in permanent tattoos and those silly earlobe spacers that permanently stretch out your ears. We'll save that for another chat haha
