In Quest of Genuine Happiness

Hi Steemians! This is my first post on the series of my life experiences so far and this is my experience and lesson garnered in my search for genuine happiness.

Ever since I began being thoughtful, I've had this burning desire within me, somewhat like a vacuum to be filled, I really lacked something: I needed to pull myself out of the pit of mediocrity, I needed to be happy!. I resorted to reading various articles and lots of them, but they seemed not to help.  It wasn't until I discovered the source of my struggles: I  did simple things, I shied away from though things: tough courses, challenges, and the consequences did not disappoint - mediocrity, low self esteem, unhappiness.

In my quest for genuine happiness, I discovered this truth:happiness comes from doing, "if you do simple things, life will become hard; if you do hard things, life will become simple" (T. Harv Eker). I needed to start feeling happy, to be satisfied with my life, to bear a healthy self esteem. Thus I started studying that hard course I've been sidelining, I began generally to put up with discomforts to get things done. And I can tell you that I've never been happier than before in seeing my efforts yield fruits: better grades, better relationships, body fitness, etc.

I don't know how you feel about yourself now. Are you happy with your life and with how things are going? You can determine if you would be by tackling that tough stuff you've been avoiding, the challenge, the fear. Do it now and feel happier with yourself, I want you to be happy!

Thank you all and keep Steeming!
