In the upcoming movie Black Adam, I have discussed Black Adam and Doctor Fate. Today I will discuss another character that you are going to see in this movie and that is HAWK MAN.

Hawk man is played by Aldis Hodge. Let's not know about the original history of this Hawk man.

Origin of Hawk Man

Black Adam movie will show Carter Hall's hawk man and so I am going to tell the story of this Carter Hall aka Hawk man.

Hawk Man's first appearance was in issue number # 1 of the 1940 comic Flash Comics.

The story begins with the timeline of ancient Egypt. At that time the king was Prince Khufu. But Prince Khufu had an enemy named Hath-Set. This hath-set was also a famous priest. At one point a fight broke out between Prince Khufu and Hath-set.

But being a hath-set priest, he uses his tantra to defeat Prince Khufu's army and capture Prince Khufu and his wife Chay-ara. They were then killed by a Cursed Dagger made of nth metal. But Khufu vows to take his soul even if he dies.

Since then Khufu has been reborn with different identities in different timelines. Brian Kent aka Silent Knight was born in Britain in the 5th century. Blacksmith's son Koenrad von Grimm was born in Germany in the 14th century. He was born in the 18th century as Captain John Smith, the leader of the Virginia colony. Then Hannibal Hawkes was born as aka nighthawk.

Finally, in 1940, Prince Khufu was reborn as Carter Hall. Carter Hall was an American archeologist, and Prince Khufu's wife, Chay-ara, was born on this timeline as Shiera Sanders. Shiera Sanders was also an American Archeologist. Ath-set was born in this timeline as Anton Hastor who was a well known scientist in this timeline.

Carter Hall did a lot of research as an archeologist. One day while doing research, he found a very old ancient knife. It was actually a piece of Cursed Dagger with which Khufu was killed. Whenever Carter Hall finds this ancient knife, he remembers everything from his old life.

Then he learns that Anton Hastor is that priest hand-set. And so he prepares himself for his old revenge. He is that "nth metal" Kei now uses it as his tool. She makes a belt and a wings costumes with Nth metal which helps her to fly and defying gravity.

And Carter Hall read this costume and named himself Hawk Man. And so Carter Hall became a hawk man for the first time. While Carter Hall was busy preparing himself, Anton Hastor also remembers his old life, and so he kidnaps Shiera Sanders again by casting his magic spell.

The Hawk man then confronts Hastor for the first time, and after a long battle, Hastor is electrocuted. After killing Hastor, Hawk man rescues Shiera. From then on, romance started between them.

Hawk then became a member of the JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA (JSA) team. Shiera Sanders uses Hawk man and nth metal to make the same costumes for herself and continues to work with Hawk man as Hawkgirl. Carter Hall joined the US Army Air Force in 1942 as Airman and served as the 1st Interceptor Command pilot in World War II.

Power of Hawk man

Hawk man has no superpower. He uses the costumes he has artificially made as his power. For example, he uses his belt, wings, harness and boots made of nth metal with his own mentality. Helps his wings fly. However, the nth metal used by Hall but not as metal. This nth metal enhances its strength. Increases the power of sight as he flies a lot but can clearly see what is happening on the beach.

Gets the power of speed healing. Even if it flies at a very fast speed, it keeps its body temperature under control. Because of its metal wings, it can easily fly with many heavy objects. nth metal can also affect electromagnetism and strong / weak nuclear force.

He is also very intelligent, A good pilot. He knows how to fight and win the war by participating in the war and for this reason he has been called as a leader. Also many experts on Sword fight, Spears uses, battle axes & using shield.That was Hawkman's origin and power. I will see the next post about Cyclone / Atom Smasher.
