Come in the Wind and the Rain

How is the story true? The myth of catching the wind is true, but there is also a mistake. For example, we assume that rain can cause colds, fever, cough, runny nose, and rheumatic bodies. In fact, if we look carefully, is not this a typical symptom of influenza virus infection? What is the relationship between rainwater and influenza virus? Is there any influenza virus in the rain? Is behind a wet suit there is a bunch of viruses ready to attack? Certainly not.

Why do we get sick after the rain? Do we ever think that swimming athletes who are almost 8 hours a day in the pool often catch a cold? In fact, we ourselves while recreating to the beach or swimming in the pool for hours stay fit. Where are the water? Why is that?

Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) discipline explains the argument (hadith qudsi) that Allah is the prejudice of His servant. Prejudice is our conjecture or perception. If God alone His existence and existence depend on the way we understand and interpret it, let alone a phenomenon in life. Our perception is another form of prayer. When the body is in rain, we then feel miserable and consider the pain, the most likely thing is we will get sick.

Where does 'bad prayer' come from? No other than that, it comes from information grafted into our minds. Where did the information come from? From the knowledge we receive as a culture. Furthermore, culture passed down from generation to generation, from one generation to the next. Then we believe it as a truth. Thus, we are already suspected of rain water. The belief that rain will make sick acceptable without rejection so that it enters the subconscious, to further create the terror of anxiety in the brain when we experience it. At the time of that anxiety, in our bodies increased levels of the hormone cortisol that weakens the body's defense system. This condition then allows germs or viruses that are not invited to enter and interfere with our body system. Unwittingly, our fears and anxieties have invited them to 'party'.

Where did the virus, bacteria, and friends come from? They can come from the neighborhood, from others we meet, or even from the queue of viruses around our nostrils that are already waiting for their turn to enter. Here is a beautiful picture of the application of a prayer. As a hope-filled expectation, our prayers are preceded by our own system of body.
