Collective consciousness in medicine

Kind regards my dear fellow Steemians. Today I woke up very excited about an idea that I am developing; and it is just that I have always wanted to change this world (for better I hope) a bit, someway, somehow. I want to help creating something that would impact the life of other people (and my own), in a good way of course. I think that is why I decided to study medicine but at some point I realized that I was not really helping, at least not in the scale I had always wanted to do it, I was not even helping myself because I was feeling so frustrated for not being able to acomplish my goals. I keep working as a doctor but I'm using the most of the knowledge I absorb day by day to understand the needs of the people in order to search for a solution the satisfy them.

The way we practice the medicine has not changed in hundreds of years, even thoug we (humans) have developed the technology that we could only dream about twenty years ago; but the way we give the treatments, the way we recieve the peopel in the hospital keeps collapsing the emergency rooms and increasing the expenses of the health services without a real improvement in people's life quality (I mean proportionally). I have always wonder what is the way to change that and, I realized we have the perfect tool in our hands.

The Internet works similar to our brains, and... The right conexions, the big amount of information we have (all of us) working together as a colective conscisness... Just think about what we could do. The problem now, in my opinion, is the we need to find channels in order to improve the eficiency of the model; this is very known in other areas but not in medicine (hard to believe right?). Every doctor work as a unit, inside a bigger unit with a stuning lack of cohesion between them, and I'm only talking about this problem among the health workers, so you could imagine what happens between them and the general population.
If we want to change the system, we need to democratize the medicine too, and there are several ways to do that, taking advandage of the channels we have, but we still don't know how to use.
In I what concerns to me, I'm working in several ideas that I think have potential, but I couldn't do anything on my own, so I want to use this network (and some others) to reach other people who have a similar idea in wich we could work together and really acomplish something big, somethig good for all of us.
