Herbal alternatives:
The main herbal alternative that would work great for any bacterial infection is garlic. Lots and lots of garlic. This can be taken in many different ways. You could take Dr. Christopher’s Super Garlic Immune, garlic capsules, raw garlic. For strep throat one of my daughters always need to get the shot of penicillin until I did research and came across the use of herbs. The last time she was ill with strep throat I crushed 2 garlic cloves, mixed in a little honey and a bit of cayenne and had her eat that. She was fine the next day. There are no side effects from taking lots of garlic unless you count smelling like the garlic. Garlic is great for killing infections.
You could also take echinacea to help build up your immune system so your body is able to fight off illnesses.
