What is acne, and what causes it?

Acne can be seen a Skin condition which occurs when hair follicles are clogged with dead cells and oil and this usually leads to the formation of blackhead, whitehead, cysts and Nodules. It
mostly happens to the face, chest and the back.

Causes of Acne

Some common causes of Acne includes the following.

  • Hormonal changes
    This Hormonal changes usually happens during Adolescent when there is an increase in Sebum, an oily Substance which lubricants the skin and hair and can be excessive and when these occurs, they can block the pores which leads to Acnes.

  • Bacteria
    Cutibacterium is a bacteria that habitat on the Skin naturally, when the hair follicles are closed they multiply and cause Acnes.

  • Ailments
    Certain sickness like PCOS which causes hormonal imbalance can equally trigger this.

  • Stress
    This happens to me a lot, stress can also trigger Acnes.

  • Cosmetics
    Harsh Cosmetics can accumulate and clog the pores, thereby leading to Acnes.

What are the different types of acne?
  • Blackhead
    It is usually a small dark spots.

  • Whitehead
    It is a white small Bump.

  • Cysts
    These are usually large and very painful. It is always filled with pus.

  • Nodules
    It is a large Bump and they're usually painful.

Some home remedy of preventing acne includes the following.

  • Cleansing
    Always wash your face twice a day, which is in the morning and at night with a gentle soap and warm water.

  • Towels
    Avoid sharing your face Towel, avoid using the same Towel for your face and body.

  • Applying Lemon
    Apply Freshly squeezed Lemon juice to the to the affected area.

  • Honey
    Honey can also be applied to the affected area.

  • Aloe vera
    Aloe vera gel can be applied to the affected area for soothing from irritation and itching.
