30 lifelong changing minutes! A way to happiness.

30 minutes a day, is something I believe we can all manage to dedicate to our body and health. Working out is something we all think about doing or want to do most of the time, but never really work up the nerve to do as we don’t always have enough time or energy. A lot of people see it as a life style and eventually it does become a life style but working out is something that does not come easy to all. However, we are all capable of doing. Living in Mexico one of the most obese country’s in the world has made me realize how little we take care of our self’s. I can’t say that I have always struggled with my weight as I have a small complexion but to feel good some exercise is necessary. Its not about being small or big but healthy.

I live in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, a nice Caribbean town in the south of Mexico. Like in most countries southern food is not the healthiest but the tastiest, and we drink a lot as its hotter and people say the high temperatures makes us stay in, drink, and eat. I also lived in Florida for 10 years and many of the local food is also deep fried once again confirming that Southern food is always tastier in every country. The southern parts of countries are typically more relax and laid back as everything seems to run slower closer to the sun.

Living in a beach town however, makes you think about trying to stay in shape a little more despite all the tasty eating that we have in this wonderful town. We try to spend a lot of time at the beach and I love to avoid having lots of tan lines. Small bikinis mean stay in shape to feel nice and comfortable. I have lived here for 3 years and it took 2 years of struggle till I finally manage to find something that would help me stay in shape, take care of my health, and would take no time or very much effort.


I have never been one to like sports, running, or gyms making it a little hard to stay in shape as my only athletic activity was biking every now and then. I started looking for ways to work out at home as work takes a lot of time away and going to classes would be less personal time. After some searching I finally found this video that I am very passionate about as after learning how easy it can be to take care of our bodies and health and seeing how my body has been transformed it has changed my mind completely about how I felt about working out. I would just like to share this piece of information as sometimes we don’t try to look for more options and taking care of our self’s can be so easy.

The video is called “30-Minute Full Body Calorie Burner” and its part of the POPSUGAR fitness videos. The fitness host is Anna Renderer and she does a fantastic job at keeping your energy up and making you not give up. At first, I could not do have the video and after a full year I can finally do all the routine’s correctly, it took time and effort but with lots of perseverance I finally manage to do it. Especially cause its only 30 min long and makes you work every part of your body. The only thing I have not figured out is how the host can talk through out the video as every time I work out I end up dripping in sweat and can barely even breath.
