Disability, severe pain, and numerous chronic pathologies were just some of the challenges Milana had to endure. A few years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer, but doctors were hesitant to treat it because the tumor did not grow. Milana continued her rehabilitation, but her body suddenly failed again, and she fell back into a coma. She had to relearn everything once again: how to walk, eat, and speak.

The year 2022 was critical for Milana. She was constantly ill, her kidneys were barely functioning, and the epilepsy medication caused her to stop recognizing and speaking with her loved ones. In the summer, she was hospitalized with COVID and fluid in her lungs, By winter, she had become extremely weak. She was hospitalized once again, but this time, she has not returned home. Milana passed away in February 2023.

Her husband, who devotedly fought for his beloved for several years, still could not stand the load and left a few years ago. The public utility worker, who was guilty of the tragedy, was sentenced to six months of probation.
