Hearken To The Voice Of Wisdom

The real and original Wisdom is a person; therefore He speaks, calls, cautions, and advises. The Lord Jesus is that true Wisdom of God and He is the One speaking in Proverbs 1:20-29. He is the One calling us personally in Matthew 11:28-30 to laid our burden to Him and only those who are wise would respond to the call and so, have their houses built on the solid rock.

In Proverbs 1:20-29, the true Wisdom of God is asking His people, you and me, to listen to His words of reason. He asks in Proverb 1:22 why people would choose foolishness over wisdom. He wonders why people hate knowledge, the right use of which brings wisdom that delivers from both temporal and everlasting damnation. The Lord Jesus, the wisdom of God guarantees us in Proverbs 1:33 that those who pay close attention to Him to do His will shall live in safety and the person shall be free from all evils.

Have you answered in agreement with God's call in Matthew 11:28-30? Answering rightly that the Lord's call is the best choice you can make in life. Jesus Christ is calling on you today if you are yet to give your life to him or have backslidden.

The burden of sin is too much for humanity and this is the reason it is only reasonable to answer the call of Someone always ready to take away all the burden from us. Answering the call of Jesus Christ unto salvation is the beginning of wisdom and failure to answer His calling is the foundation of all kinds of disaster. No big surprise the Lord says in Proverbs 1:20-29 that, for those who choose not to listen to Him, He would laugh them to scorn in the time of their disaster.
