Fabulous Fungi! and other things

Hey, kids! I went back out to the forest that tried to kill me a couple weeks ago, and I snapped some more photos! Mostly of mushrooms!

Like this bright little colony!

And this one that kind of looks like an apple that was nibbled on!

The next couple photos are different angles of this same tiny hill, which I'm positive a gnome lives in.

I love how certain parts of the trail are walled in by bright green moss.

I found some delicious berries along the way! Wild tastes so much better than storebought. <3

I think I found the front porch of someone else's house!

And finally, a lovely shot of the Manistee River. I was a little disappointed that the trail here was intersected by a road, because the best part about wilderness trails is feeling like you've left society behind. But it was still a nice walk.
