They're already learning how to fight
Yesterday I showed everyone flash, my favorite kitten and I told you they were three. I called him flash because he's clearly he fastest and he's so lively. But fluff is the biggest with more fur. Then there's Angel, because she's all white.
I saw these three little guys fighting each other and I had to wonder why cats do that, I've had multiple kittens live in my house so I've seen their behaviors, it's always the same. If they're more than one, they'll fight each other.
Look at the White one "Angel" it's like she's about to have a heart attack.
Kittens fight because they're built to fight, be aggressive. They're part of the cat family just as lions and tigers are. They're predators so that means every single pounce, every bite, every little paw strikes the deliver is their body learning how to hunt. So fighting each other is not exactly fighting, it's training by instincts. It's just biology doing what it's meant to do.

There's something called bite inhibition happening in that wrestling match with these three cute little kittens. I noticed that when one kitten bites too hard, the other one screams or runs off. So there's a lesson being learned, the kitten that did the bitting just learned where to draw the line. It's not taught by anyone. They sort all that out themselves.
Their ability to dominate gets figured out the exact same way. Who is able to hold their ground in the fight? Who will end up backing down? It's very clear these guys don't need a referee. Although I'm tempted sometime to stop them from fighting because I'm a human being and I was trained and brought up learning that physical fight is wrong. For them, it's necessary survival tactics they need.
So I give them the space to do that and don't interfere.
