"My Favorite City of My Country".

In Nigeria, we have over 200 languages, and these languages are so unique, giving us a chance to express ourselves freely without difficulty. English is our official language to communicate among ourselves since we don't understand other tribes' languages. We have 36 states in Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja).
The cities in each state are amazing. My favorite city is Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, where different tribes, particularly Igbo, Nupe, and Hausa, travel to settle down and engage in any trade of their choice. We have beautiful architectural designs, schools, hospitals, and good infrastructure for people to move from one place to another. The reason why I like it is that there is no violence, and everyone lives peacefully without fighting. Law enforcement agency were place in the appropriate area to maintain order.
I am currently living in this city because I was raised here. Although I have visited other places too, my city is one of a kind. My loved ones reside in this city, which gives me the opportunity to strengthen family relationships. I love my city, particularly during the Durbar festival period. This festival happens annually, where people, both young and old, showcase their talent by participating in horse sports. The Emir (king) tours around the community to greet everyone for the Eid celebration because the Durbar festival usually takes place during Eid al-Adha. This promotes our culture by letting the world know what we have to offer.

Many people from around the world traveled down to my city to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere that God created. We have different tourist attraction centers such as Esie Museum, Owu Waterfall, Unilorin Zoo, Afon Fishing Festival, and so on. The special place I normally visit, which is close to my place of residence, is Ilorin Metropolitan Park. It is owned by the government, where different animal creatures are available for visitors and indigenes to see.
These animals include geese, horses, ostriches, donkeys, crocodile, and so on. Some of these animals are kept inside cages while others roam around. Parents bring their young kids to this place so that they can enjoy themselves and also appreciate their parents for giving them the opportunity to witness these unique places. Music plays around for kids to dance away sorrow.

Dada pottery workshop is the type of occupation in which women in my city engage themselves to earn a living. It is one of the oldest traditional occupations that women have been doing. In fact, these African women still practice it today. I will allow my visitors to visit this beautiful place so they can have a more immersive experience.
Clay materials are used by these women to produce water storage, piggybank, bowl, cooking pots, and more. They sell these products both locally and internationally. Our grandmothers use these items a lot, and those who are still alive continue to use them because when they use those cooking pots to cook for us, the taste and aroma are fantastic to the extent that we request for more. There are beautiful places my visitors can visit, but I prefer this historical center. Accommodation is not a problem and is available at a moderate price.
