Today was the second day of our Sports Day and the atmosphere was feeling different since morning. As soon as we all reached the field, our team was seen standing everywhere in green T-shirts and a slight excitement was floating in the air. It was hot but the energy was much more than that. People were sitting everywhere, laughing, talking and waiting for the next game to start. Seeing the crowd and the complete set-up seen in the photo, I also felt good that we all are being a part of such a big event.

The first few games took place, in which some people participated with full confidence and some kept encouraging their friends. The games were not only fun, but the laughter and jokes that went on along with them also lightened the fatigue of the whole day. There was that team spirit feeling everywhere – as if no one is alone, everyone is standing together.

The most colorful and attractive part of today was when our female staff, wearing traditional dress, got themselves photographed in the group. Seeing the shine and color of her Gujarati chaniya-choli, it seemed as if the entire ground had become like a festival. Everyone's smile in the photo is so natural that as soon as you see it, you can understand how much happiness there was from within. That glow was clearly visible on everyone's face, from the children to the sisters standing next to them.

Then when everyone gathered on the stage in white T-shirts and raised their hands enthusiastically while looking at the trophies – that moment was exactly like a movie. Whether someone won or simply stood as a part of the team, at that moment there was only one thing in the entire group – happiness. What matters most in Sports Day is that we all come out of our daily routine and become a part of these moments like a family.

In the end, the selfie taken by two friends standing in traditional clothes was the icing on the cake. There was sweat on the face, but the happiness was many times more than that. Such photos really tell the real story of the day.

Today was a day full of games, dance and team bonding. Day-2 of Sports Day will probably be remembered for this reason only – because here these moments spent together mattered more than victory or defeat. Hopefully the same energy and the same smiles continue tomorrow too.
