Today I'm writing in my diary after a long time because my husband wasn't feeling well. My husband has been having some stomach problems, so we went to see a doctor. The doctor ordered some tests and admitted him to the hospital the next morning at 8:30 AM. He was given 4 to 5 bottles of glucose.

The test reports came back in the morning, and after seeing the reports, the doctor said that his hemoglobin level was perfectly fine, 13.5, which is ideal. Since they needed to perform surgery and give him some injections, and the reports were exactly as the doctor wanted, they admitted him for the operation.

Around 10:30 AM, the doctor took him to the operating room. The surgery lasted about 45 minutes, and then he was shifted back to his room. My son and I stayed at the hospital with my husband all day. The doctor discharged him at 8:00 PM, but he was quite weak and in pain.

Then we booked a cab, and my husband lay down in the car because the doctor had advised him not to sit up. I had sent my younger son to my parents' house. On the way home, we called my younger son and told him to come back. Kartik arrived while we were still on the way, and food also arrived from my parents' house for us. We were feeling very tired, and I also needed to make khichdi (a rice and lentil dish) for my husband. Besides, we were getting a lot of phone calls from everyone checking on him.

But when there's such a tense atmosphere at home, you don't feel like eating anything. Then I made khichdi for my husband, and we also ate two parathas each.

I gave my husband his medicines, warm water, and things for a hot compress. I kept the light on all night so that he wouldn't have any problems. This is how today, a very stressful day, ended.

You have to be strong. These are the hardships of life, so everything will be fine with time. I pray to God that he gets well soon.
