Today is a special day for our Hindu community, the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge. This worship is held in every educational institution, and every Hindu home is worshipped today. We are unable to participate in the puja today because we cannot go to any temple or perform puja until the first anniversary of my mother's death. This is the rule of our tribe. But my daughter can perform puja, so today she has a vow: to perform puja, she has to keep it; she can break the vow after the puja is done. Puja is being performed in our neighborhood. Puja is performed very late in our neighborhood, so I went to Pagla High School with my daughter. There were a few others with her. I left her at the school and stood outside. I didn't go inside. This picture is of Pagla High School. Students are playing sports during the holidays, and inside, the goddess of knowledge, Saraswati, is being worshipped.

Today, pitha is made at home. Every family makes pitha, but in our village, they don't make pitha on the occasion of Saraswati Puja. In the city, I saw that Hindu families celebrate pitha. Our family is also making pitha, like everyone else. My favorite pitha is Patisapata pitha. This pitha is available in various markets. Milk and semolina are added to this pitha. But today, we made an exception in our homemade pitha, making it with coconut, jaggery, and milk. My wife has been working hard all day today; she finished the day making pitha. But the pitha turned out so delicious. She gave these pitha to the neighbors, and they also praised them. Today, I made another type of pitha, made it round, and added coconut and milk to this pitha. I made it in such a way that it can be kept for a week to 10 days.

Today I cooked Kashmiri biryani at home; my daughter loves this biryani very much. This type of biryani takes a lot of time to cook; it was cooked exactly like the type of biryani that is cooked on various occasions. Special spices are used to cook this biryani. My wife buys this biryani spice from Pagla Bazar in our house. Sometimes she cooks biryani in this style. Today, after two months, she cooked biryani. Another interesting thing is that this biryani is cooked completely vegetarian. Today, vegetarian food is cooked at Moolk's house. The flavor of the biryani was very good. It was also a lot of fun to eat.

Our neighborhood has organized a special Saraswati Devi puja this time. Everyone in the neighborhood enjoyed the puja so beautifully. My daughter had a lot of fun visiting this place. There were so many women here that I couldn't even go to the puja mandap and bow down. Still, I went closer and bowed down. I stood outside the mandap for a while. After the crowd thinned out a bit, I took a picture near the goddess.

It will be around three to four o'clock when we have tea at a restaurant. It has been a long time since we had tea at a restaurant. Today we had a guest, and I went to Pagla Bazaar with my friend to have tea. However, they like the tea from this restaurant a lot, but I don't like it. The original tea has no flavor, just milk and sugar. Even then, the tea in the shop is three times more expensive.
