A Rainy, Calm & Cozy Day: Devotion, Grasscutters, and a Temu Delivery Surprise*

It’s your girl BlessedI, and I’m here to gist you about how my day went today, August 13th, 2026.

My day was very peaceful and calm. I think the weather decided to give me a break today. The rain fell heavily last night and it continued into this morning. Because of that, everywhere was so calm, quiet, and cold. The weather was so sweet that I even woke up late. Usually, I’m up early, but today my body just wanted to rest a little more.

When I finally woke up, the first thing I did was my morning devotion and prayers. Starting my day with God always gives me peace, no matter what. After my prayers, I went to the mirror to check myself. Honestly, my face wasn’t looking too bad, but to me it was. I’ve been dealing with pimples and some stubborn black spots for a while now. I’ve tried my best to clear them, but they are being very stubborn. Sometimes it’s discouraging, but I know with consistency and God’s help, my skin will clear up. I just have to keep going.

After that, I stepped outside. Since the weather was cold and I wasn’t in the mood to stress myself too much, I decided to keep things light. I went to clean my grasscutters’ cage and fed them. They were so happy to see me as usual. Taking care of them is one of the things that keeps me grounded. Even on lazy days, I still have responsibilities.

When I came back inside, I didn’t do much housework. I just swept my room and my kitchen to keep things tidy. After that, I was already feeling hungry, so I prepared noodles for myself. Simple, quick, and satisfying. I ate, relaxed a bit, and then went to take my bath to refresh myself. After my bath, I felt so relaxed that I just slept off.

A few hours later, I got a call that woke me up. It was the Temu delivery guy. I had ordered a few things — some wristwatches and earrings. The guy said he was already at Akimi Palace, so I quickly stood up, washed my sleepy face, and rushed to go and collect my package.

When I got home and opened the parcel, the earrings were actually very nice. I liked them immediately. But the wristwatches… ah, not what I expected 😅 They looked like rubber and they were too light. There was no weight at all, and I prefer watches that feel a bit solid on the hand. So I repackaged them. I’ll probably return them or resell them as "fashion lightweight watches."

After sorting that, I just went back to sleep because the weather was still calling me.

When I woke up again, it was already evening. And guess what? I was hungry again 😂 This time I decided to make noodles with fried egg. I took my plate, wrapped myself in my blanket, and settled down to eat while watching movies on my phone. The food was so delicious, and the movie was interesting. That cozy feeling of cold weather + hot food + blanket + movie is unmatched.

That was basically how I spent my day — calm, a little bit of work, a little bit of rest, and a Temu delivery drama. Not too stressful, but still fulfilling.
