30 Days Challenge — Promoting Steemit on YouTube Social Media

The ongoing Steemit learning challenge on YouTube has exposed me to certain things and has made me develop a liking for video content. How? Through this challenge, I've been able to create a channel for Steemit promotion and also exciting videos that can captivate investors, introverts and writers. I decided to do a general survey on Steemit as a social media platform on YouTube. I came to realise that the contents made were old contents from 3-5 years back.
No new content on Steemit. No trending content for visibility, and yet, many are looking for opportunities where they can write, share their lifestyle and other activities and earn crypto or real money for it. So I'm taking this challenge upon myself from 1st November to promote Steemit on YouTube.
5 days back in one of my contents, I saw this comment on my video of a user asking how she can earn money on Steemit. This is to show that most people aren't aware that such a platform exists. Even though they were aware at first, they'll check past records and see that it's been long since anyone posted about the platform. They'll guess... Probably they aren't in existence again..
So this challenge I'm taking upon myself would be from November 1st to 30th. I'll be creating short videos, posting every day on my status on different promotional schemes for investors and writers. My promotional video would be centred on the following....
- Attracting investors to a safer and beneficial way of investing on Steem without losses
- Showing investors that they can earn in 3 ways if they hold a STEEM coin
- I'll also show the introverts that they can become visible with their words and that there's a platform just for them.
- I'll show YouTubers that aren't earning from YouTube that they can earn from their videos if they post them on Steemit.

And a lot more... I won't be embarking on this challenge alone. I'll take both the newbies and old users to help promote Steemit on YouTube. I think once we have something booming as it's done on X, we'll get enough visibility, as most people prefer watching videos rather than reading texts.
Let's bring Steemit to the spotlight on YouTube. After the 30-day challenge, we'll see the results collectively. Our results would determine our next move and which social media we can take the promotion to. It would have commenced today, but I have a lot of projects at hand.

We should be targeting a total of 100 users plus investors if everyone participates in this promotion.

Every week, we'll be given niches or areas of concentration to center our videos on. To those who don't know how to create good thumbnails and effective promotional videos, there'll be a class for this. This is an example of what it would look like...

Something like this is what I'm thinking we can integrate
A comprehensive class would be held on tags to use, how to use effective titles, descriptions, creating good thumbnails and video editing. I feel it will create a spark and that awareness would be there. After YouTube, we switch to Tiktok where viewers are seen in multitudes.
Thanks to @walitcd for inspiring me to create content on YouTube for the introverts especially. This YouTube channel creation has exposed me to certain knowledge and basic video editing skills I wasn't aware of.
Let's see how it goes, as I want to make my SLC mentor proud, and concerning the monetisation aspect of YouTube, I've been given a task to achieve at least 500 subscribers. Having a good niche and a good setup, I'll embark on this with enthusiasm.

I'll need the suggestions of my superiors mentioned here on how to go about this as a tree cannot make a forest. While we support speem by posting using IPFS, we can also use post that video on our channels to promote steem.

It's so true from what you've said on the old videos on YouTube.
I remember when I was starting steemit as a newbie, I thought YouTube videos would help me grow fast on steemit but I couldn't find something to fall back on there.
With this your initiative, Steemit will be on its way to a bloom .
