I usually notice dragon flies hover around small water bodies and ponds mostly when the sun is really out, giving its radiance. One thing about this insect is that it doesn't perch for long except it finds its comfortability and it's very sensitive to predators including shadows. So I had to lie down on a grass close to a pond for minutes before I found a dragon fly perch on a small protruded grass. I couldn't get the eye level because it would have flown if I made another move and my mobile camera can't zoom from far and still maintain its clean quality. I found the insect in a pond side and captured it.

Anterior and Posterior view	This is the only view or angle I was able to capture its back and tail because there were obstructions, preventing me from going round to its eye level. To do a video and then snap was almost impossible.

They are way beautiful dragon fly other than in black. I took these pictures and video at Ibom Icon Hotel, Uyo. This is the location. Google Maps. I couldn't take it from the other angle because it was a pond .
