The Diary Game: Sorting Laundry And Taking Care Of My Family (19/03/2026

I wake up early today to do laundry and finish up on time . I tell my daughter to look after my son as there’s holiday and she’s home. I quickly get the clothes washed and spread. I get the items for washing and rinse and I take them back inside. I took the clothes inside when they are dry. When I finish packing the clothes inside I arrange them and put them into the wardrobe and I attend to my child, I prepare yam and egg and we ate for lunch. I took a nap and I went to look for a particular leaf that clears baby rashes and cleanse the body for smooth and clean skin. I told my daughter to look after my child and i go get the leaf.

As soon as I got to the place I want to get the leaf, I met the woman who has the leaf planted in her backyard and we greeted each other and I started plucking the leaf, while I was at it she told me she’s a nurse and she treat malaria and give injection, I got surprised as I never knew she is a nurse, I only know she has a chemist shop in front of her house. I didn’t know when I told her that few weeks ago my son was ill and the mid-wife nurse that attended to us, ask me if there’s any nurse in the area I leave that can give the rest of the injection to my son as we came from a very far place to get him treated. I told the nurse I don’t know anyone as we newly moved there and it’s a new site. On hearing that she felt unhappy that I had to go that far for treatment of my son. I let her know that I’ll be coming to get treatment now that I know and I pluck the leaf and head home.

I take the pictures of the leaves when I got home and I prepare it and for my son and give him to drink. It was already getting late and I had to prepare dinner. I have egg sauce as much as possible and I thought of cooking yam to it , so we could have it for dinner. I got a tray, peel the back of the yam and I slice the yam and put it in water and I rinse, then after rinsing I put it inside the pot and put it on the gas and light up the gas. As soon as I finish cooking I serve the food, my family and I eat and relax for a while before going to bed.
