The Diary Game: Sweeping The Compound And Arranging Cooking Ingredients (11/05/2026)

The compound tends to be dirty most of the time because we live close to a stream of water and there are several trees around, once the leaf on the tree gets dry, breeze blows it to our compound making the compound looks like what they don’t sweep at all. Today I just decided to sweep despite its thrice in a week we do sweep it.
Coming out of the house and looking how dirty the compound is and I swept it 2days ago, I just decided to do justice to it as other neighbors are not available to share in the compound sweeping. The compound sweeping as been scheduled to be swept 3 days in week and it’s been shared between the neighbors. it’s meant to be swept on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Everyone living in the compound is meant to participate in the sweeping either weekly as individual or taking it simultaneously as each day of the sweeping is close by.

Unfortunately our neighbors haven’t been around for weeks and this makes me the only one sweeping the compound. I sweep twice or once in a week since the neighbors are not there to join. Hubby sweeps too anytime he feels like it. I make sure I sweep it thoroughly, that once I sweep it’s carried the cleanliness to 2to3days before thinking of sweeping again. Just that the trees and the breeze this period makes it look like one is saying otherwise but then I still try my best to make it clean. I sweep towards noon by that time all the breeze that’ll bring unnecessary dirt would probably have stopped. I pack the dirt from one end to the other and continue till gets to the extreme end. I sweep the compound in less than 1hour& rest thereafter I wash my hands and legs. I went to the kitchen as soon as I’m done with the sweeping.

Arranging cooking ingredients

I have it in mind to arrange all cooking ingredients hubby got last week but attending to my child and doing a whole in the house make it seems like I don’t want to, I finally have the time to and I removed it all from the bag it was bought from and arranged it properly into the container meant for it. I filled the container meant for seasoning into it and fill the one meant for spices into the container meant for it as well. I also filled containers meant for salt too and returned the remaining cooking ingredients into a big container and cover it. I returned the container filled with the cooking ingredients back to the kitchen store. I fold the bag hubby brought it with and kept it in the store in case of any other time we might be in need of one. After I’m done in the kitchen with the ingredients arrangements I had to go shower and relax.
