Thediarygame | A visit to the 245 battalion MRS to get checked up 3/06/2026

Hello steemians, today I will be writing my diary on the visit to the 245 BN MRS (Medical Reception Station.). You can see my picture on the way to get treatment and also check how I feel. It's good to always stay on track with our health and I made sure I got checked up and received treatment.

On my way the hospital (MRS)

Firstly after I woke up took some time to rest eat my breakfast I when to the MRS hospital. I walked about 200m to our house in the barracks, as I got to the hospital the first thing I did was to go to the section where we kept the medical report folder is keep, I went there to enable the staff working to do their job such as recording the date I came which is 3rd June 2026.

When I got that section I waited for about 40 minutes before I was attended to because of the population of people that came either for a check-up or to report about their ill health, I came for check and my health at the hospital at exactly 8:45 AM. You can see in the photo below their visiting hours.

When I was done with that section I went to the check-up room where we received a check-up on our temperature and blood pressure. I was there for about 20 minutes before it was my turn to get a check-up. The nurse started by putting the thermometer in my armpit for it to detect my temperature and then checked my blood pressure making use of the "Manual sphygmomanometer".

When the nurse was done I asked her about how my body temperature and blood pressure were, and she said that I was okay, and she advised me to keep it that way. When I was done with the check-up I proceeded to the section where I would get to see the doctor and tell him about how I felt because I was seriously ill.

As I went into the doctor's office I greeted him and he asked me to sit so that he would hear what I had to say about how I am feeling I started by telling the doctor that I am having headaches, cough, running nose, sore lip, and lastly, I got hit in the eye by someone last week. I stated clearly that I started feeling all this two days ago.

The doctor then asked me if I had taken any medicine for the things I have been experiencing but I said no, he also asked me if I had an ulcer, to which I said no. He proceeded and prescribed these drugs for me as you can clearly see in the photo.

Entertainment for patients before being attended to

When I took the prescription form I discovered that there were mostly tablets, I am not a fan of getting injected but I receive them if necessary because health is wealth. I went straight to the pharmacist and received my drugs. I had a good time at the hospital because there was a television to entertain patients before there are attended to,
