The Diary Game: Sunday Morning: Me Vs Church [26/04/2026]

Hello everyone, it's @demigodsms, I will love to share another episode with you all about how I went to church this morning Our Church starts by 6am. But i woke up by 6:30am. To me I thought I would go to church early.” I was still pressing my phone on the bed. Although NEPA was no light last night, so my church shirt is not ironed. I start looking for my small rechargable to on. The there was no fuel in the generator. So I managed to enter bathroom, no water in the tap. so I use one bucket to get water from a nearby well in our area. Toothpaste also finishes halfway. I have to squeeze it before seeing some paste to use.

I’m still picking clothes. The shirt I planned to wear had a small stain I didn’t see it on time. I then quickly put on my jean trouser. Church has started. I was still looking for my left shoe. My question is how does one shoe always disappear on Sunday morning? It's really funny, I then found it in another room, with dust. So I cleaned it with some water and handkerchief. I went and check the mirror. My hair was not well brush. So I use hand and water. It was looking “manageable.” Not fine but still okay. Finally, I then step out. Sun was so hot. I walk fast, praying I don’t meet any church members mostly workers of the Church on the road. Because they will ask me "why I'm I late" .

So i got to the church, Choir was singing already. Usher was standing at the entrance. I went in, bend low, and find a seat at the back to sit. But at least I’m here. Late, sweating, my shirt not ironed. But all thanks to God. God understands although. By God grace next sunday I will start waking by 5am. Maybe.
