The Diary Game: [13/05/2026] An hectic day
Dear diary ,I hope the person reading this is doing well and in good spirits today.
My day went well even though It was a hectic day I felt very tired but I'm still greatful to God for everything. After doing my house chores I felt little bit relieved maybe because my work burden has been reduced. I said to myself "why should I worry about my future when it is under God control moreover he knows my name". I wrote this message in the picture on my notepad and meditate on it . I am beginning to realize my self little by little as the day passes by and am happy I did write it down because it brought peace to my heart.
After I was done reading and meditating I knew I had to take my bath so that I can feel refresh because it was necessary and the weather was hot ,their has been no rain fall in Kaduna most especially where I stay for weeks now the weather has been hot and we only experience little cold breeze sometimes in the night. I am the only one at home now almost every body has gone to work and students to their various Schools that means I don't have to struggle or beg for water because their will be free chance. I took my stainless basin of water and went to the tape to fetch water in my neighborhood . I fetched the water , brought it home and filled my two empty drums and I big pot . I went their 10 time ,4 Basin of water filled each drums and 1 basin of water for the big pot after I water done fetching the water I fetched another extra bucket of water for my bathing, though I got some assistance from passerbys and people I am familiar with who helped me lift the water on my head.
It was evening already and the time was (6:38pm) I have not wash my evening dishes yet and I dislike washing plate late because I know it will surely get dark(Night) , and when it gets dark all the mosquitoes would want to feed on my blood; I don't like drugs neither do I like injections so I had to hurry up and finish on time but still yet night still met me their rinsing my plates at (7:15pm) thank God I was able to finish before (7:30pm).
Since our gas has finished my Mom sent me to go buy firewood for tomorrow morning cooking, this is something I do everytime when our gas has been exhausted so I didn't complain even though it was late and I went there. Arriving there the old woman who owns the fire wood business was already sleeping and when she's sleeping she doesn't like disturbance,she is still on her medication she was admitted to the hospital last month which was "April" and she just got discharged last week Sunday. She already told me that anytime I come and she not around or she is sleeping I should sell it on my own and give the money to her grand daughter who is just (8)years old and who stood and watched me as an eye witness. I put it inside a sack and brought my firewood home carrying it on my head because the distance is not far from my house, thank God I got home safely.
