Peppers take roughly three months to be ready for harvest and cash, but that also means the farmer is dealing with a long term cash flow gap, they do have a huge profit though. In the event the target price for a crop is not met, the business won’t suffer complete loss of investment thanks to the second crop.

Weeding is expensive and time consuming because a farmer typically has to hire laborers to do that on a weekly basis. This time and labor cost is reduced all because of a simple method of growing lettuce that is a great business strategy and the value it gives is clear.
